Mitchell Area Housing Inc. (M.A.H.I.) is a non-profit housing organization whose purpose is to facilitate and assist families in securing good quality housing and to encourage home ownership by such persons in the surrounding area of Mitchell, SD. 

The MADC has collaborated with MAHI since its inception, offering community resources, financial grant support, and shared manpower to further its mission of strengthening Mitchell’s economy. By developing new affordable housing and revitalizing existing homes, this partnership creates opportunities for new families to settle and thrive in Mitchell.
