The 437 Project was born of a passion for bolstering both physical and mental wellness and the often overlooked connection between the two. The inaugural 437 Project will run 437 miles across the state of South Dakota, raising funds to support The Helpline Center. The Helpline Center is the only accredited suicide crisis center in the state of South Dakota. It serves thousands of people each year by organizing local agency volunteers, and offering hope to individuals with thoughts of suicide. On Saturday, September 24th, the 437 runners will be stopping in Mitchell on their way to Sioux Falls. Join us in the Corn Palace Plaza at 7pm to help welcome the runners into Mitchell. We will have yard games and special guest speakers.
