Preparing for Long Term Care, no matter what your age, can be daunting and difficult. Teresa Hart will share ways in which you can protect some of your assets during a Long Term Care stay and how to prepare. Brandi Neugebauer, from Avera Brady, will be joining us to share ideas on what to look for in a facility, the process it takes to move in to a facility and how to know when it's time to make that move. Brandi Neugebauer is the Social Work Supervisor at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. She has worked in various roles within the healthcare industry and found her passion for working in long term care in 2007. Brandi received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology and Human Services from Dakota Wesleyan University. Immediately after graduating she started working at Avera Brady in Social Services. Brandi oversees several departments including Admissions, Social Services, Activities, and Chaplaincy services at the facility. Brandi helps residents and families by answering financial questions as well as helping them adjust to the changes and challenges they face when moving into a long term care. Lunch is on your own and space is limited. Please RSVP to Teresa Hart at 292-0202 Monday, October 23, 2017.
