    Event Description:
    This A-Maize-Ing bike event has become a signature summer highlight in the Mitchell area, hosted by Palace City Pedalers in conjunction with a long list of sponsors. Riders can choose from 15, 35, 62 and 100 mile routes, all ending at the picturesque Lake Mitchell Day Camp for our popular BBQ lunch festival. With sag stations along the way and friendly local spectators and support, the Tour de Corn brings in hundreds of cyclers from several states. Register early to ensure you get a t-shirt and a goody bag! 

    Saturday: Tour de Corn

    Gather at the Mitchell Corn Palace to register and get ready to ride on Saturday morning. If you didn't register/check-in on Friday night, you may do so this morning. Helmets are required and water bottles/camelbacks highly encouraged.

    Noon: Family Fun Ride begins

    Post-Ride: Ribs, Music, Door Prizes and Bike Raffle!

    Family Fun Ride: A short ride perfect for families. 

    15 Mile Route: A casual ride around Lake Mitchell, beginning at the Corn Palace and ending at the Lake Mitchell Day Camp. 

    35 Mile Route: Our most popular ride starts at the Corn Palace and takes your north of town through some scenic corn country, around Lake Mitchell and south on Foster Street then to the Lake Mitchell Day Camp.

    62 Mile Route: See some serious rolling country on our 60 mile route, starting at the Corn Palace and ending at the Lake Mitchell Day Camp. 

    100 Mile Route: The century ride gets you up early and keeps you going with plenty of great scenery and sag stations along the way. Starts at the Corn Palace and ends at the Lake Mitchell Day Camp.
