Weaned Calf Risk Protection Meeting

Weaned Calf Risk Protection is a new insurance option for livestock producers offered by USDA's Risk Management Agency (RMA). 
This program is designed to provide beef cow-calf producers with federally subsidized revenue protection for their calves up to weaning age. The new coverage provides risk protection in the event of price decline and loss of yield due to a decrease in overall weaning weight.
