Are you a detail-oriented professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the legal field? We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated assistant to join our fast-paced law firm in Mitchell, South Dakota. Our team currently includes two attorneys and their assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional administrative support to attorneys while managing a variety of legal documents and correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Deals with clients and people in a respectful and professional manner.
- Maintain organized files, both electronic and hard copy, with a keen attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, ensuring compliance with court deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a legal assistant, office assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to answer the phones and communicate with clients effectively.
- Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and handle constructive criticism.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, other Office and general computer programs.
