In this role, the Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role by being the primary point of contact for customers. Specific responsibilities include answering all customer inquiries regarding service and resolving the issues; processing any payments using a variety of payment methods, collecting payments from delinquent accounts and collection functions; enthusiastically promoting products to new and existing customers; meticulously updating records or account changes regarding service; proactively corresponding with customers when they start a plan or have changes. In addition, the Customer Service Representative collaborates and assists internal departments with billing and reporting as needed.
Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with customer service preferably in a telecommunications, internet or other highly-regulated industry. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem solving skills, great customer service, and the ability to analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement. Strong communication skills to explain business-related information in a professional, understandable way is crucial. Exceptional computer skills are necessary – specifically with operating various office productivity software, applications, and equipment.
Starting compensation range, DOE, $24.59-27.37/hr
